A Note From a Son to His ParentsSometimes the most meaningful moments in real estate have nothing to do with the transaction.

May today be joyful and celebratory.

As one home is passed from one family to another, I keep thinking about what it really means to call a place home.

Home isn’t an address.
It isn’t square footage or renovations or how many coats of paint went on the walls.

It’s the memories built inside it.

I hope the family who now calls that house home is blessed with love, health, and strong family bonds in the years ahead. If they experience even a fraction of the memories we were lucky enough to make there, they’ll have something truly special to cherish.

Not a room or a corner was spared from my parents’ endless renovations and redecorations — every change made the house warmer, more welcoming, and more them. It wasn’t just cared for. It was loved.

I’m so grateful they were the ones who called it home for so many years. And I’m grateful for what lies ahead — wherever life takes them next.

I love y’all.
